Hawaii Palm

£19.99Price

Bring a nice tropical and sunny feeling into your home with this Brighamia Insignis. The plant is slightly air-purifying and will turn the room into a true paradise. The plant is native to Hawaii and is a perennial plant of the bellflower family, Campanulaceae.

The Hawaii palm plant is actually a succulent and not a real palm, but is known as the Hawaiian Palm. A special plant that produces small yellow flowers in the autumn. 🪴

  • Best position

The Brighamia Insignis is beautiful as a houseplant and thrives best in a spot with partial shade. The plant likes enough light, but direct sunlight should be avoided. The Hawaiian Palm doesn't like change either. It is therefore not advisable to move the plant again and again. If this is done anyway, leaf drop will occur.

  • Care info

Although not a palm, the Brighamia Insignis has the same growth process as that of a palm tree. The plant makes new leaves in the head and rejects the old lower leaves. These will yellow and dry out. New leaves form on the Hawaiian Palm throughout the year, but shedding occurs in stages. Ideal temperature for the plant is between 18 °C and 25 °C.
